Italy (and especially Naples) mourns the death of singer Pino DanielePino Daniele was a very popular Neapolitan singer. He is a symbol of Neapolitan music and culture. He wrote many wonderful songs and sountracks for the movies of another Neapolitan icon, Massimo Troisi. More than 100,000 people spontaneously met in Piazza Plebiscito in Naples the day Pino Daniele died, to sing his song and express their sadness. |
